Larry Atherton, Owner/Manager
Caelum Funding is owned and operated by Owner/Manager, Larry Atherton, who has over 30 years of experience in arranging financing and investing throughout the United States. Together Larry and his team provide the excellent resources and solutions possible for borrowers and investors looking to take advantage of opportunities available in the investment marketplace.

As CEO, Mr. Atherton manages Caelum Funding’s operations. He is also responsible for developing and implementing the Company's short and long-term strategy.

Mr. Atherton brings over 25 years’ experience in the roles of CEO, President, CFO and Controller. Throughout his career, he held numerous positions on behalf of financial institutions, private equity firms, VCs, board of directors and shareholders, where he managed company turnarounds, change of control, corporate finance, M&A activity, divestitures and asset liquidation. His responsibilities included securing equity and debt investments; obtaining numerous lines of credit; establishing long-term financing arrangements; preparing financial audits; preparing corporate valuation models; preparing financial statements with supporting documentation; financial reporting; process improvement; managing M&A activity and divestitures; post-acquisition integration; corporate structuring and restructuring; IPO staff augmentation; inventory/asset management, reconciliation and liquidation; financial due diligence. Mr. Atherton also developed several national and state financing programs with tax equity strategies and other financial strategies that reduce residential finance obstacles which propelled national sales and installations.

Mr. Atherton started his career at Deloitte & Touché which provided him with foundational experience and business acumen in accounting, financial audit, asset management, financial reporting and operational performance, which became the primary drivers for his success in finance. Mr. Atherton received his B.S.B.A in Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude at the University of Louisville, Kentucky. Throughout his career, he also served in numerous organizational boards, including positions as Director, Treasurer and Chairman, for nonprofit organizations and Associations.
